This behind-the-scenes photograph was taken during the production of the original Creepshow movie and features Tom Savini and Stephen King inside Tom’s special effects studio discussing the film. Please Note: Stephen King did not sign this photo.

Nicknamed the “Godfather of Gore,” his innovative practical effects changed the horror genre forever. His credits include Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, Maniac, The Burning, Day of the Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Creepshow, and From Dusk Till Dawn. Beyond his effects work, he has also built an accomplished career as an Actor and Director. His groundbreaking work on the original Creepshow helped create some of the most memorable practical effects in horror cinema, cementing the film as a landmark collaboration between Stephen King and George A.
