Description
For your consideration is this ultra-rare The Cult Electric Promotional Beer Pop Can, produced by the record label to promote the band’s landmark 1987 album, Electric, featuring Billy Duffy and Ian Astbury.
During the 1980s, record labels were well known for producing creative promotional items tied directly to an album’s theme, and this factory-sealed beer can is one of the more unusual and memorable pieces created to promote Electric. Nearly 40 years later, these promotional cans are extremely rare, with very few still existing today.
Remarkably, this can remains factory sealed and is in incredible condition considering its age. Unlike many surviving examples, this can shows no signs of leaking or rust. There is some minor edge wear to the promotional label, consistent with age and storage, but overall it displays beautifully.
