For your consideration is the Spider-Man autographed Marvel Comics 11” x 17” poster print that is hand signed by the original live-action Spider-Man, Danny Seagren. Seagren portrayed Spider-Man in pantomime on The Electric Company during the 1970s, marking the character’s first on-screen appearance.
This poster was signed at Danny Seagren’s only private signing in May 2015 and comes certified authentic by JSA (James Spence Authentication) with their tamper-proof hologram and matching card.
Danny Seagren (born 1943) was also a longtime collaborator with Jim Henson and performed as Big Bird during early Sesame Street promotional tours. His portrayal of Spider-Man remains a cult favorite, and his last public appearance was in 1976, making signed items nearly impossible to find.
