Released in 1981 as the sequel to the original Friday the 13th, this film introduced audiences to Jason as the killer for the very first time—wearing the now-iconic burlap sack, a look created by costume designer Ellen Lutter. With no actor yet cast, Ellen suited up for the opening scene, becoming the first adult Jason on screen.
