Ellen Lutter, the film’s costume designer, created the original sack head look for Jason. With no actor yet hired, Ellen stepped in and filmed the opening scene—making her the first person to portray adult Jason Voorhees in the franchise.
This collectible SteelBook features custom 40th anniversary artwork and a high-quality metal case. Only two of these are known to exist signed by Ellen, who has turned down signing appearances for years. Her autograph is among the rarest tied to the Friday the 13th series.
