Ellen Lutter, the film’s costume designer, was instrumental in creating the iconic sack head look for Jason. When no actor had yet been hired for the role, Ellen stepped in and suited up for the opening scene—making her the very first person to appear as adult Jason in the franchise.
Only two of these machetes have been signed by Ellen, and her autograph remains one of the rarest in the Friday the 13th universe. She has declined all signing appearances for many years, making this an exceptional opportunity.
