Ellen Lutter, the film’s costume designer, was responsible for helping create the iconic sack-head look for Jason. With no actor yet hired for the role, she suited up and filmed the opening scene—making her the first person to appear as adult Jason in the franchise.
Her autograph is extremely rare, and she has declined all signing appearances for many years.
