Released in 1992, Quayle Season is a rare piece of political comedy history inspired by then-Vice President Dan Quayle and the media frenzy that surrounded him during the era. Long before Lewis Black became a household name, this obscure release captured the humor and political satire of the time and has since become a highly sought-after collectible.
VHS Tapes have become increasingly desirable among collectors as surviving examples continue to disappear. With so many tapes discarded over the years, finding rare titles in excellent condition has become more difficult than ever. Quayle Season was only released once, making original examples especially hard to locate today.
The VHS Tape itself remains in new, unused condition. The original factory wrapper was removed in order for Lewis to Sign it. During the meet, Lewis got a genuine laugh when he saw the Tape, commenting on how rare it was and noting that he had never signed one before.
Lewis Black’s signature comes certified authentic by Autograph COA (ACOA). The certification sticker is affixed to the back of the VHS Tape case, and the matching ACOA Certificate of Authenticity card is included. The signature is fully verifiable in the AutographCOA database, which features a photo of the exact signed item.
