Kirk Alyn (October 8, 1910 – March 14, 1999) was an American Actor best known for being the first Actor to portray the DC Comics character Superman in live-action. He starred as Superman in the 1948 Superman movie serial and its 1950 sequel, Atom Man vs. Superman. He also portrayed Blackhawk in the 1952 Blackhawk movie serial and Sam Lane in the 1978 Superman film.
