About Dick Durock
Dick Durock (January 18, 1937 – September 17, 2009) was an American Actor and Stunt Performer best known for portraying Swamp Thing in Wes Craven’s 1982 film Swamp Thing. He reprised the role in The Return of Swamp Thing (1989) and the Swamp Thing television series. Durock also appeared in films including The Enforcer, Any Which Way You Can, Stand by Me, The Monster Squad, and Die Hard with a Vengeance. He passed away at age 72 on September 17, 2009.
